General (political statement of goals, objectives, views, philosophies)

Hi, I'm Kelly Kultala and I am running for the Kansas Senate because I believe voters in the 5th District want a change and deserve a choice when voting for Democratic representation. And the time for change is now.

Democratic representation for Topeka is weak in the 5th District. We have not done enough when it comes to important issues such as education for our youth, health care, and jobs for all of our citizens.

As former commissioner for the Unified Government/KCK, I have shown that I can bring economic development and revitalize our communities. I am proud of the success we have had in Kansas City Kansas with Village West and the Kansas Speedway, and I believe my skills can further bring economic growth and prosperity to all communities
